Ford Motor Company of Canada and Global Security and Fire are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Specialist, Site Security to oversee physical security and fire operations across two key Windsor-area manufacturing facilities: Essex Engine and Windsor Engine Plant.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing day-to-day leadership and supervision of security personnel across both plants
- Developing, implementing, and continuously improving site security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans
- Overseeing fire and emergency response operations at both locations
- Serving as the primary liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services
- Ensuring compliance and driving improvements across all Global Security and Fire Security Standard Operating Guidelines
- Managing contracted security guard services and security budgets
- Providing around-the-clock escalation support for critical incidents
The successful candidate will have:
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate, industrial, or manufacturing security
- 2+ years' experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
- 2+ years' experience with Canadian federal and Ontario provincial security, privacy, and workplace safety legislation
- A college diploma in paralegal, security, law enforcement, or a related field of study
- Valid Canadian driver's license
The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $87,000.00 – $137,000.00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
